Travel
Where have been your favourite countries to travel to?
My favourite countries have been China and Italy in general, just for exploring and the food. For hiking, Norway and New Zealand are top of my list for world-class hikes and views.
Where’s the next destination going to be?
There are a couple of places I haven’t been to yet: • Portugal • Northern Japan, perhaps for a snow trip • Sri Lanka, where I’d love to learn how to surf • Central Asia (the ’Stans) • And more of China!
Favourite travel experiences so far?
I’ve got a tonne, but here are a few of my favourites! • Hiking to Everest Base Camp (twice!) • Cherry blossom season in Korea • EDC in Las Vegas • Lunar New Year in China • Hiking through the fjords in Norway
Remote work
Favourite places to remote work?
My top three places to work remotely right now are Taiwan, Korea and Bangkok. They all have really good internet, convenient, fast-paced and buzzing cities, delicious food, lots of areas to explore and good cafés.
Next remote work destination?
Gwangju in South Korea is the next place I’d love to try working from remotely, as I haven’t been there yet. Or a couple of smaller cities in Taiwan, like Tainan and Taichung!
How long do you usually stay when you’re working remotely?
I try to stay at least two weeks in any one city, but for big cities like Bangkok, Hong Kong or Seoul, I could easily stay for a couple of months. It just depends on the timing really!
